Senate Vote Last month, the House of Representatives passed the DISCLOSE Act to put some common sense limits on corporate funding of elections. But last week, when the bill was called for a vote in the Senate, Senate Republicans voted unanimously to continue debate, which effectively kept the vote from occurring.

White House Stimulus Job Growth Claims Are Misleading

“As Chairman of the Texas Workforce Commission, I have grave concerns about the true impact of the Obama Administration’s stimulus program on job opportunities for unemployed Americans,” said Tom Pauken. The TWC Chairman addressed the claims made in a White House press release last week which called the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (Recovery Act) a great success, “responsible for 2.2 to 2.8 million jobs created through the first quarter of 2010.”

Architects, Engineers Call For New 9/11 Investigation

911Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth (AE911Truth.org) are calling for a new independent investigation nito the demolition of the Twin Towers and Building 7 at the World Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001. At a seminar and press conference slated for Saturday, March 20, from 1-9 p.m., they plan to reveal the conclusions of architects and engineers who have studied the destruction of these buildings that includes unreported evidence at the World Trade Center.

China Threatens U.S. Over Taiwan Arms Sales

China has threatened U.S. firms who sells weapons to Taiwan. Sanctions are expected, according to the Foreign Ministry whose leaders warn that “The United States must be responsible for the serious repercussions if it does not immediately reverse the mistaken decision to sell Taiwan weapons.” The ministry claims that the arms sales represent an interference in China’s domestic affairs and could negatively impact that country’s national security.

Is The War In Afghanistan Justified By The Events Of 9/11?

David Ray Griffin, acclaimed philosopher, theologian, author, and 9/11 researcher, will be making his second Boston-area appearance at 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 8, at the Harvard Epworth Methodist Church, 1555 Mass. Avenue (near Cambridge Common).  Griffin’s current presentation, “Is the War in Afghanistan Justified by the 9/11 Events?” is part of a 15-city U.S. tour and a follow-up to his April 2009 presentation at Boston University, which was hosted by the BU School of Theology and attracted an audience of over 400 people.

Disciplinary Complaint Filed Against FEC Commissioner

U.S. On Monday, Velvet Revolution (“VR”), a watchdog group dedicated to government accountability and election protection, filed a disciplinary complaint against current FEC Commissioner Caroline Hunter for giving false and misleading testimony in a federal lawsuit alleging illegal vote caging by the Republican National Committee.

Chemtrails are again abundant in Texas, as are strange weather extremes that tend to follow them. However, the extremes have extended themselves around the planet. Last year, the United States Geological Survey reported nearly 70 major earthquakes in the world, perhaps more than ever. Prior to the Bush Administration years, the average was about five or six a year. During the Bush years, the totals were usually in their 30s.

Investigation, Prosecution Of Attempted Phone Tampering Of Senator's Office Demanded

On Monday, Jan. 25, four people were arrested while attempting to illegally trespass and tamper with the government phones of Louisiana Senator Mary Landrieu in New Orleans. Officials are calling this “Louisiana’s Watergate.” Among those arrested is Robert Flanagan, the son of a Louisiana United States Attorney, and conservative activist James O’Keefe, who last summer illegally filmed staffers at ACORN offices in Maryland and Pennsylvania.
